Adapted from the Waldseemuller map in our Exploring the Early Americas exhibition, these marble coasters depict an image of one of the most historical documents created of early America. Imported marble, printed in USA. Boxed set of 4. Each 4" square.

Dubbed "America's Birth Certificate," Martin Waldseemuller's 1507 World Map is based on Amerigo Vespucci's voyages to 1501-1502 to the New World, and is the first map to depict the newly found American landmass, which forever changed the European understanding of the World.
